The goals for hosting the mini conference on “Transforming Education for 2030” are to: 

 

1.  Mobilize key education stakeholders, including Ministers and state secretary-level officials to share information on research and have open and honest conversations about the following:

• Current Global State of Education

• Global Interconnectedness 

• Digitization

• Integrative Literacies

• Innovation, Teacher Education and Professional Development 

• Global Education Cooperation

• Student Achievement and Citizenship

• High-quality and Developmentally Appropriate Programs 

• Literacy and Lifelong Learning

• Future of Education

 

2.  Propose actions to advance equity across global education systems, to discuss both unique and shared experiences, brainstorm viable solutions, and extract important lessons learned from the past two years that would make the field of education more resilient and agile.
